Chateau Status was founded in 2007 by the awarded Executive Chef Phokionas Hadjiioannou. It is his family’s home built in the old Venetian walls of Nicosia and it has been for several years the meeting point of nations, cultures, civilizations and religions.Chateauis a French word and it stands for palace, old mansion, and castle.Statusreflects the welfare and social status of the people that lived in it.
Inspired by this blessed place, as he likes to call it, Phokionas combines his talent as Executive Chef with the unique location of Chateau, aiming to deliver to the guests the opportunity to experience ultimate culinary tastes in an outstanding environment of hospitality, which reflects the path through time and the reputation of its own existence.
